THE NORTH-WEST FRONTIER PROVINCE POWER CRUSHERS (LICENING) (AMENDMENT)
N-W.F.P ORDINANCE NO.I OF 2001.
AN
ORDINANCE
further to amend the North-West frontier Province Power Crushers (Licensing) Ordinance, 1 980.
WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the North- West Frontier Province Power Crushers (Licensing) Ordinance, 1980 (N.-W.F.P Ord.No XV of 1980), for the purpose hereinafter appearing;
AND WHEREAS the Assembly of the North-West Frontier Province is in abeyance and the Governor is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary to take immediate action;
NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of the proclamation of Emergency of the fourteenth day of October, 1999, and the Provisional Constitution Order No. 1 of 1999, read with Article 4 of the Provisional Constitution (Amendment) Order No 9 of 1999 and in exercise of all Powers enabling him in that behalf, the Governor of the North-West Frontier Province is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:
1.         Short title and commencement.— (I) This Ordinance may be called the North- West Frontier Province Power Crushers (Licensing) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2000.
(2)        It shall come into force at once.
2.         Amendment of section 2 of N.-W.F.P. Ord. XV of 1980. — In the North- West Frontier Province Power Crushers (Licensing) Ordinance, 1980 (N.-W.F.P. Ord. XV of
1980), hereinafter referred to as the said Ordinance, in section 2, in clause (d), after each of the words "power", "tractor" and "process", a comma shall be inserted.
3.         Amendment of section 6 of N.-W.F.P. Ord. XV of 1980. —In the said Ordinance, in section 6, for sub-section (1) and (2), the following shall be substituted, namely:
"(1)      There shall be charged a fee for the grant and renewal of a licence at the following rates:

                                                                                                                       

 (2) No fee shall be charged in respect of Ghanies and power crushers below six horse power.".
