To pay homage to the martyrs of the merged districts, the ceremony of transferring the memorial of martyrs from the former FATA secretariat to the civil secretariat. Caretaker Chief Minister Justice (R) Syed Arshad Hussain Shah inaugurated the Martyr's Memorial. Caretaker provincial cabinet members, senior provincial officials and malkans, elders and heirs of the martyrs from the merged districts participated in the ceremony, paying full tribute to the great sacrifices of the martyrs.
