Advancement and development in the contemporary society has changed the dynamics of public administration. Following the principles of good governance, it is our responsibility as public servants to devise comprehensive and flexible public policies that cater to the needs of public. Trust between citizens and government is pivotal to good governance. To ensure this, we need to make the institutions in our administrative machinery more efficient and effective by adopting modern means of administration to improve service delivery to general public. Transparency in procedure, accountability of all tiers of administration and inclusion of public feedback will go a long way to achieve this target. No effort must be spared when it comes to service delivery to the citizens, thus strengthening the notion of good governance and bridging the trust deficit that unfortunately exists between the citizens and the government.
