Procedure for the Renewal of Passport

 

Online Passport Renewal
  1   Online Passport Renewal facility is available for both Inland & Overseas Pakistanis.
  2   Apply for renewal of your Machine Readable Passport, if your passport has expired OR its validity is less than 1 year.
  3         Once you have registered and prepared with you the photograph and supporting documents, you are ready to apply online for your machine readable passport. 
  4   Create an application for passport and provide details of your application.
  5   NOTE: Children under 15 years of age will be issued their Machine readable passport having 05 years validity. 
  6   Provide your address for machine readable passport delivery.
  7   NOTE: Currently the home delivery option is only available for only Overseas Pakistanis in a limited number of countries.
  8   Pay Fee through a Credit Card/Debit Card.
  9   NOTE: DGI&P has a NO REFUND POLICY against any application initiated/submitted for issuance of machine readable passport. Applicant is requested to thoroughly review information and guidelines provided in the website
  10   Provide your present and permanent addresses.
  11   Upload your photograph.
  12   Upload the supporting documents required by the application.
  13   NOTE: If the applicant is a minor, uploading the Attestation Form for Minors, duly filled, is MANDATORY.
  14    NOTE: If the applicant belongs to Government / Public Sector / Autonomous Body, uploading No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from respective department is MANDATORY.
  15   Download the form, capture the 4 fingerprints asked by the system. Set the scanner at 600 DPI, JPEG/JPG and Grayscale. Scan and upload the form.
  16   Review the information you provided, sign the declaration and then submit the application.
