Procedure to Get Domicile Certificate


A domicile Certificate is essential documents that the person is an inhabitant or a permanent resident of the state. This certificate can be made in one place.

Where to get forms

Visit the nearest district court there are many people (Form Sellers) sitting outside in the courtyard you can get a form from him or directly purchase a blank form for domicile and Challan form 32 A of 20 rupees from a shop outside the court. Fill up the form with all requisite details (Applicant Name, Father Name, Date, age, Tehsil, District ), etc and fill challan form 32 A deposited two hundred rupees in National Bank and write an affidavit from parents in proof of resident. All documents must be attested from Notary Public Officer.

Checklist of Documents

  1. The prescribed application must be duly signed and attested
  2. Affidavit
  3. Copy of Paid challan form
  4. 2 pictures passport size
  5. Copy of metric Certificate
  6. Attested Copy of C.N.I.C.
  7. Parents C.N.C.I
  8. Form B for a person under 18 years of age
  9. In case if a person is illiterate attached birth certificate must be attested.

Where to submit

  1. The file will be submitted to the concerned officer for examination in the DC office.
  2. After examination, the case will be put for the commissioner's signature.
  3. Commissioner will issue the certificate after getting verification done from the patwari and the Police station.
  4. Finally, you can take it from the concerned office within 5-7 working days.
