GOMAL ZAM PROJECT (CONTROL AND PREVENTION OF SPECULATION IN LAND) (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE, 2001. N.-W.F.P. ORDINANCE NO. I OF 2002. ANORDINANCE
to amend the North-West Frontier Province Gomal Zam Project (Control and Prevention of Speculation in Land)Ordinance, 2001. WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the North-West Frontier Province Gomal Zam Project (Control and Prevention of Speculation in Land) Ordinance, 2001 (N.-W.F.P. Ord. No. XII of 2001), for the purpose hereinafter appearing; AND WHEREAS the Governor of the North-West Frontier Province is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary to take immediate action; NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of the Proclamation of Emergency of the fourteenth day of October, 1999, as amended uptodate, and the Provisional Constitution Order No. I of 1999, read with Article 4 of the Provisional Constitution (Amendment) Order No. 9 of 1999, and in exercise of all powers enabling him in that behalf, the Governor of the North-West Frontier Province is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:1. Short title and commencement.—(1) This Ordinance may be called the Gomal Zam Project (Control and Prevention of Speculation in Land) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2001. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment of section 4 ofN.-W.F.P. Ord. No. XII of2001.—In the Gomal Zam Project (Control and Prevention of Speculation in Land) Ordinance, 2001 (N.-W.F.P. Ord. No. XII of 2001), in section 4, for the word "No", appearing in the beginning, the words and comma "Except for the purposes of mortgaging with banks and other financial institutions for obtaining loans, no" shall be substituted. -------------------------------------------------
