No. PA/NWFP/Legis:/88/3200.---The North-West Frontier Province Land Revenue (Amendment) Bill, 1988 having bean passed by the Provincial Asssembly of the North-West Frontier Province on the 24th February, 1988 and assented to by the Governor of the North-West Froater Province on the' 8th March, 1988, is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Legislature of North-West Frontier Province.

(First published after having received the assent of tlie Governor of the North-West Frontier Province in the Gazette of the North-West Frontier Province (Extraordinary), dated the 12th  March, 1988).

ACT


further to amend the North- West Frontier Province Land Revenue Act, 1967.
Preamble.---WHEREAS it is expedient farther to amend the North-West Frontier Province Land Revenue Act, 1967 (N.-W. F. P.  Act XVII of 1967), for the purposes hereinafter appearing;
It is hereby enacted as follows:—


            1.         Short title and comencement.---(1) This Act may be called the North-West Frontier Province Land Revenue (Amendment) Act, 1988.
(2) It shall come into force at once and shall be deemed to have taken effect on the 27th day of June, 1983.
2. Amendment  of section 1 of N.-W. F. P. Act No. XVII of 1967.--- In the North-West Frontier Province Land Revenue Act, 1967 (N.-W. F. P. Act No. XVII of 1967), hereinafter referred to as the said Act, in section l, for sub-section (2), the following sub-section shall be substituted, namely:
"(2)   It extends to whole of the North-West Frontier Province.".
3. Amendment of section 56 of N.-W.F.P. XVII of 1967.---In the said Act, in section 56, in sub-section (1), the full-stop appearing at the end of clause (a) shall be replaced by a semi-colon and after clause (e) the following new clause shall be inserted, namely:
"(f) land on the produce of which ushr or contribution in lieu thereof has been charged in accordance with the Zakat and Ushr Ordinance, 1980 (XVIII of1980).".
