No. PA/NWFP/Legis/91/9459.-- The North West Frontier Province Service Tribunals (Amendment) Bill, 1991 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of the North-West Frontier Province on the 2nd June, 1991 and assented to by the Governor of the North-West Frontier Province on the 6th June, 1991 is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Legislature of North-West Frontier Province.
THE NORTH-WEST FRONTIER PROVINCE SERVICE TRIBUNALS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1991. N.W.F.P. ACT NO. IX OF 1991. [First published after having received the assent of the Governor of the North-West Frontier Province in the Gazette of North-West Frontier Province (Extraordinary), dated the 10th June, 1991]. ANACT further to amend the North-West Frontier Province Service Tribunals Act, 1974.Preamble.--- WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the North-West Frontier Province Service Tribunals Act, 1974 (N.W.F.P. Act No. I of 1974), for the purpose hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted as follows. 1. Short title and commencement.--- (1) This Act may be called the North-West Frontier Province Service Tribunals (Amendment) Act, 1991. (2) it shall come info force at once. 2. Amendment of section 2 of NWFP Act No. 1 of 1974.--- In the North-West Frontier Province Service Tribunals Act, 1974 (N.W.F.P. Act No. I of 1974), in Section 2,for clause (a), the following clause shall be substituted, namely: (a) 'Civil Servant' means a person who is or has been a civil servant the meaning of the North-West Frontier Province Civil Servants Act, 1973 (N.W.F.P. Act XVIII of 1973) but does not include a civil servant covered by the North-West Frontier Province Subordinate Judiciary Service Tribunal Act, 1991. 3. Repeal.--- The North-West Frontier Province Service Tribunals (Amendment) Ordinance, 1991 (N.W.F.P. Ordinance No. IV of 1991) is hereby repealed. -------------------------------------
