THE NORTH-WEST FORNTIER PROVINCE LOCAL GOVERNMENT (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1987.

[First published after having received the assent of the Governor of the North-West Frontier Province in the Gazette of North-West Frontier Province (Extraordinary), dated the 19th March, 1987].
AN ACT
further to amend the North-West Frontier Province Local Government Ordinance, 1979.

WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the North-West Frontier Province Local Government Ordinance, 1979 for the purposes hereinafter appearing;

Preamble.

It is hereby enacted as follows:—

1.         (1) This Act may be called the North-West Frontier Province Local Government (Amendment) Act, 1987.

Short title and commencement.

(2) It shall come into force at once.

2.         In the North-West Frontier Province Local Government Ordinance, 1979 (N.-W.F.P. Ord. No. IV of 1979), in section 129, for sub-section (5), the following sub-section shall be substituted, namely:—

Amendment of section 129 of N.W.F.P Ord No IV of 1979.

"(5) The Government shall cause to lay before the Provincial Assembly all the Audit Reports prepared under this section.".
