AN
ORDINANCE
further to amend the North- West Frontier Province Ministers (Salaries, Allowances and Privileges) Act, 1975.

WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the North-West Frontier Province Ministers (Salaries, Allowances and Privileges) Act, 1975 (N.-W. F. P. Act, IV of 1975), for the purpose hereinafter appearing;

Preamble.

AND WHEREAS the Provincial Assembly is not in session and the Governor is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary to take immediate action.
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 128 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Governor of the North-West Frontier Province is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:

1.         (1) The Ordinance may be called the North-West Frontier Province Ministers (Salaries, Allowances and Privileges) (Amendment) Ordinance, 1986.

Short title and commencement.

(2) It shall come into force at once.

2.         In the North-West Frontier Province Minister (Salaries. Allowance and Privileges) Act, 1975 (N.-W.F. P. Act, IV of f 1975) in section 8, after sub-section (4) the following new sub-section shall be added namely:

Amendment of 8 of N.W.F.P Act IV of 1975.

"(5) A Minister shall be entitled, without payment of rent, to the use of Government Guest Houses, Circuit Houses or other Rest Houses, wherever such accommodation is available."
