THE NORTH-WEST FRONTIER PROVINCE LOCAL GOVERNMENT (THIRD AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE, 1983. N.-W. F. P. ORDINANCE NO. XII OF 1983. PESHAWAR, DATED THE 17TH AUGUST, 1983. AN ORDINANCE further to amend the North-West Frontier Province Local Government Ordinance, 1979.
WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the North-West Frontier Province Local Government Ordinance, 1979 (N.-W. F. P. Ord. IV of 1979), for the purpose hereinafter appearing;
AND WHEREAS the Governor of the North-West Frontier Province is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary to take immediate action; NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of the Proclamation of the fifth day of July, 1977, and in exercise of all powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of the North-West Frontier Province is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinances
1. (1) This Ordinance may be called the North-West Frontier Province Local Government (Third Amendment) Ordinance, 1983.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2. In the North-West Frontier Province Local Government Ordinance, 1979 (N.-W. F. P. Ord. IV of 1979), in section 28A, in sub-section (2), in clause (a), the words "by Government" shall be deleted and shall be deemed to have been so deleted on 4th July, 1983.
