further to amend the North-West Frontier Province Service Tribunals Act, 1974.


            WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the North-West Frontier Province Service Tribunals Act, 1974 (N.-W.F.P. Act I of 1974), in the manner hereinafter appearing

Preamble

It is hereby enacted as follows:—


1.         (1) This Act may be called the North-West Frontier Province Service Tribunals (Amendment) Act, 1976.

Short title commencement.

(2) It shall come into force at once.


2.         In the North-West Frontier Province Service Tribunals Act, 1974, hereinafter referred to as the said Act. after section 3, the following new section shall be added, namely :-

Insertion of section 3-A N.W.F.P. of Act of 1974

"3-A Ad hoc appointment.— The Governor may, if necessary or expatiate, for a particular case or-cases, make an ad hoc appointment on the" Tribunal of person qualified to "be Chairman of a member as the case may be".


3.         In the said-Act, in section 5, in the first proviso to sub-section (1), between the word "member" and the word "may: "the commas and the words or two or more members", shall be inserted.

4.         In the said Act, in section 6.—
            (a)     in sub-section (2), for the words and comma "as the case may be," the words and commas "or, as the case may be, two or more members, shall be inserted, and

            (b)    in sub-section (4), after the word "member" appearing for the first time, a comma shall be inserted.


5.         The North-West Frontier Province Service Tribunals (Amendment Ordinance, 1976 (N.-W.F.P. Ordinance No. XII of 1976) is hereby repealed.
