THE NORTH-WEST FRONTIER PROVINCE (AMENDMENT OF LAWS) ACT, 1987. 28th October, 1987. N.-W.F.P. ACT NO. XIX OF 1987. [First published after having received the assent of the Governor of the North-West Frontier Province in the Gazette of the North-West Frontier Province (Extraordinary), dated the 28th October, 1987].AN ACT to amend certain Provincial laws to bring them in conformity with the tenets of Islam.
Preamble
It is hereby enacted as follows:-

The Dramatic Preformance Act, 1876.
In section 3,—(i) between the words "about to be performed" and the words "in a public place", the commas and the words ",or any film, picture or slide, displayed or about to be displayed," shall be inserted;
(ii) in clause (c), after the comma occurring at the end, the word "or" shall be added; and (iii) after clause (c), as so amended the following new clause (d) shall be inserted, namely: "(d) repugnant to the tenets o Islam,".

The Land Acquisiton Act.
(i) In section 3, in clause (f), after the word "provision", occur ring for the second time, the comma and the words "but does not include a purpose which is against the tenets of Islam shall be inserted.(ii) In section 46, for the words ant comma "or to fine not exceeding fifty rupees, or, to both", occurring at the end, the words and comma "and to fine, equal to the actual loss suffered or damage caused, as fixed by the Magistrate" shall be substituted.

In section 27, after sub-section (3), the following new sub-section shall be added, namely: "(4) Nothing herein contained shall affect any calim which any heir of the deceased member may have against the nominee under or in respect of any interest held by the deceased member in the society;.

Section 6 shall be renumbered as sub-section (1) of that section and after sub-section (1), as so renumbered, the following new sub-section shall be added, namely:"(2) The Forest Settlement Officer shall also inform individually each person having aright in the land of the facts mentioned in classes (a), (b) and (c) of sub-section (1): Provided that mere information of the facts to any person under this section shall not confer any right, unless it is otherwise established, and likewise it shall not extinguish the right of any other person who could not be informed of the facts for lack of record or for any other reason.".
