THE NORTH-WEST FRONTIER PROVINCE REMOVAL FROM SERVICE (SPECIAL POWERS) (SECOND AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE, 2001. N.-W.F.P. ORDINANCE NO. XXXIII OF 2001. ANORDINANCE further to amend the North-West frontier Province Removal from Service (Special Powers) Ordinance, 2000.
WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the North-West Frontier Province Removal from Service (Special Powers) Ordinance, 2000 (N.-W.F.P. Ord. No. V of 2000), for the purposes hereinafter appearing; AND WHEREAS the Governor of the North-West Frontier Province is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary to take immediate action; NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of the Proclamation of Emergency of the fourteenth day of October, 1999, as amended uptodate, and the Provisional Constitution Order No. 1 of 1999, read with Article 4 of the Provisional Constitution (Amendment) Order No. 9 of 1999, and in exercise of all powers enabling him in that behalf, the Governor of the North-West Frontier Province is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:1. Short title and commencement.— (1) This Ordinance may be called the North-West Frontier Province Removal from Service (Special Powers) (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2001. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment of section 12 of N.-W.F.P. Ord. No. V of 2000.— In the North- West Frontier Province Removal from Service (Special Powers) Ordinance, 2000 (N.-W.F.P. Ord. No. V of 2000), in section 12, for the full stop, at the end, a colon shall be substituted and thereafter the following proviso shall be added, namely: "Provided that the Provincial Government may, by notification in the official gazette, exempt any class or classes of employees of a corporation, a corporate body, authority, statutory body or other organization or institution set up, established, owned, managed or controlled by it, or a body or organization in which it has a controlling share or interest, from the provisions of this Ordinance and such class or classes of employees shall, notwithstanding anything contained in this Ordinance, be proceeded against and dealt with under the laws and rules applicable to such employees before the commencement of this Ordinance.". ----------------------------------------------------
