ACT
further to amend the Provincial Assembly of the North- West Frontier Province Privileges Act, 1973.


WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the Provincial Assembly of the North-West Frontier Province Privileges Act, 1973 (N.-W.F. P. Act, XVII of 1973), for the purposes hereinafter appearing;

Preamble.

It is hereby enacted as follows:


1.         (1) This Act may be called the Provincial Assembly of the Northwest Frontier Province Privileges (Amendment) Act, 1986.

Short title and commencement.

(2) It shall come into force at once and shall be deemed to have taken effect on the 23rd day of March, 1985.


2.         In the Provincial Assembly of the North-West Frontier Province Privileges Act, 1973 (N.-W.F. P. Act XVII of 1973), for section 16 the following section shall be substituted namely:

Amendment of section 16 of N.W.F.P Act XVII of 1973.

"16.   Miscellaneous Privileges.—A Member shall be entitled to—

  1. four licences for non-prohibited bore weapons, free of the licence fee or the renewal fee for the time being prescribed, during the period of his membership and for a period of six months immediately after ceasing to be a Member;
  2. free access to Government Guest House, Rest Houses and Circuit Houses, subject to the condition that maximum stay on one occasion shall not exceed three days; and
  3. exemption from payment of all toll taxes.".

3.         The Provincial Assembly of the North-West Frontier Province Privileges (Amendment)) Ordinance, 1986 (N.-W. F. P. Ordinance No. II of 1986), is hereby repealed.
