REGULATION
to apply the North-West Frontier Province (Court Fees) (Amendment) Ordinance, 1984, to the Provincially Administered Tribal Areas of Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kalam and Malakand Protected Area.


WHEREAS it is expedient to apply the North-West Frontier Province (Court Fees) (Amendment) Ordinance, 1984 (N.-W.F.P. Ord. IVof 1984), to the Provincially Administered Tribal Areas of Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kalam and Malakand Protected Areas;

Preamble

AND WHEREAS the Governor of the North- West Frontier Province, with the prior approval of the President, may, with respect to any matter within the legislative competence of the Provincial Assembly, make Regulation for a Provincially Administered Tribal Areas or any part thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (4) of Article 247 of Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Governor of the North-West Frontier Province, with the prior approval of the President, is pleased to make the following Regulation:-


1.         (1) This Regulation may be called the Provincially Administered Tribal Areas (Court Fees Amendment) Regulation, 1987.

Short title and commencement

  1. It extends to the Provincially Administered Tribal Areas of Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kalam and Malakand Protected Area.
  2. It shall come into force at once.

2.         The North-West Frontier Province (Court Fees) (Amendment) Ordinance, 1984 (N.-W.F.P. Ord. No. IV of 1984), as in force in the North-West Frontier Province immediately before the commencement of this Regulation, shall apply to the Provincially Administered Tribal Areas of Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kalam and Malakand Protected Area.
