No. PA/NWFP/Legis/94/19180.—The North-West Frontier Province Civil Courts (Amendment) Bill, 1994, having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of the North-West Frontier Province on the 17th October, 1994 and assented to by the Governor of the North-West Frontier Province on the 25th October, 1994, is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Legislature of North-West Frontier Province.


THE NORTH-WEST FRONTIER PROVINCE CIVIL COURTS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1994.
N.W.F.P. ACT NO. IV OF 1994.

ACT
further to amend the West Pakistan Civil Courts Ordinance, 1962.
Preamble.--- WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the West Pakistan Civil Courts Ordinance, 1962, in the manner hereinafter appearing;
It is hereby enacted as follows:-

  1. Short title and commencement.---(1)This Act may be called the North West Frontier Province Civil Courts (Amendment) Act, 1994.

(2)        It shall come into force at once and shall be deemed to have taken effect on the 19th August, 1994.

  1. Amendment of section 18 of W.P. Ord. II of 1962.--- In the West Pakistan Civil Courts Ordinance, 1962 (W.P. Ord. II of 1962), in section 18, in clause (a) of sub-section (1), for the words "fifty thousand" the words "five hundred thousand" shall be substituted.
  2. Repeal.--- The North West Frontier Province Civil Courts (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 1994 (N.W.F.P. Ordinance No. VII of 1994), is hereby repealed.
