WEST PAKISTAN ORDINANCE No. IV OF 1967. THE RAILWAYS (TRANSPORT OF GOODS) (WEST PAKISTAN AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE, 1967. [2nd June, 1967] AN ORDINANCE further to amend the Railways (Transport of Goods) Act, 1947, in its application to the Province of West Pakistan.
Preamble
AND WHEREAS the Provincial Assembly of West Pakistan is not in session and the Governor of West Pakistan is satisfied that circumstances exist which render immediate legislation necessary; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by clause (1) of Article 79 of the Constitution, the Governor of West Pakistan is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:-
Short title.
2. In the Railways (Transport of Goods) Act, 1947 (Act XII of 1947), in its application to the Province of West Pakistan, in section 1, in sub-section (3), for the word "twenty" the word "twenty-three" shall be substituted.
