THE WEST PAKISTAN EMPLOYEES, SOCIAL SECUIRTY (N.W.F.P AMENDMENT)
ORDINANCE, 1970.

AN ORDINANCE
Further to amend the West Pakistan Employees' Social Security Ordinance, 1965, in its application to the North- West Frontier Province.

WHEREAS, it is expedient further to amend the West-Pakistan Employees' Social Security Ordinance, 1965 (West Pakistan Ordinance No. X of 1965), in its application to the North West Frontier Province, in the manner hereinafter appearing;

Preamble.

NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of the Martial Law Proclamation of 25th March, 1969, read with the Provincial Constitution Order, in exercise of all powers enabling him in that behalf, the Governor of North-West Frontier Province is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:—

1.         (1) This Ordinance may be called the West Pakistan Employees' Social Security (North-West Frontier Province Amendment) Ordinance, 1970.

Short title, extent and commencement.

(2) It shall come into force at once.

2.         In the West Pakistan Employees' Social Security Ordinance, 1965 (West Pakistan Ordinance No. X of 1965), in its application to the North-West Frontier Province, hereinafter referred to as the Principal Ordinance, in sub-section (1) of section 5—

Amendment of section 5 of W.P Ord. X of 1965

 (a)    for clause (b), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:—
"(b)   three persons to represent Government, one each respectively from the Departments of Finance, Health, Education and Social Welfare and Industries, Commerce, Labour and Mineral Development;"; and
(b)     in both the clauses (c) and (d), for the word "three" the word "two" shall be substituted.

3.         In sub-section (2) of section 7 of the Principal Ordinance, for the word "five" appearing at the end, the word "three" shall be substituted.	Amendment of section 7 of W.P Ord. X of 1965.
4.         In section 14 of the Principal Ordinance, for the word "Lahore", the word "Peshawar" shall be substituted.	Amendment of section 14 of .W.P Ord of 1965.
